Welcome to ShySprout Studios. By browsing or buying from our shop, you agree to the terms below. Please give them a read — they're meant to keep things clear and fair for both of us.

1. The basics

By using this site or placing an order, you confirm you're at least the age of majority where you live, or that you have a parent or guardian's permission. You agree to provide accurate account and order information.

2. Our products

Everything here is made and sold by a small studio. Because many items are handmade or made in small batches, slight variations in colour, texture, or finish are normal and part of their character — they aren't defects. Screen settings can also make colours look a little different from the real thing.

We do our best to keep listings, descriptions, and prices accurate, but we can't guarantee everything is free of errors. We reserve the right to correct mistakes, update listings, and adjust pricing at any time.

3. Orders & payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order — for example, if an item is out of stock, a pricing error occurred, or we can't verify payment. If we cancel an order you've paid for, you'll receive a full refund.

Prices are listed in [CAD]. You're responsible for any taxes, customs fees, or duties that apply to your order, especially on international shipments.

4. Shipping & returns

Shipping timelines, returns, and refunds are covered in our separate Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which are part of these terms.

5. Intellectual property

All artwork, designs, illustrations, photos, text, and branding on this site are the original work of ShySprout Studios and are protected by copyright. Buying a product gives you the item itself for personal enjoyment — it does not transfer any rights to the artwork.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, or use our designs for commercial purposes without written permission. This includes reproducing artwork as prints, products, or digital files, and using our images to train or generate AI content. We love seeing our work shared on social media — tags and credit are always appreciated.

6. Acceptable use

When using our site, please don't attempt to interfere with its security or operation, use it for unlawful purposes, or scrape, copy, or harvest content or images from it.

7. Limitation of liability

Our shop and products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, ShySprout Studios isn't liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site or products. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here, and your continued use of the site means you accept any changes.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
